Do I need all Shapefile sidecar files?

At minimum include .shp, .shx, and .dbf. Add .prj if you want CRS preserved during conversion.

Can I upload a zipped shapefile?

Yes. ZIP archives are expanded locally before conversion.

Is there a file size limit?
